These clippers are working really well for us. My boys are 6 and 7 and really struggle with haircuts so a quieter option has been great. The guards are really easy to get on and stay on well which is an issue Iâve had with past similar clippers. The charge lasts a pretty long time and honestly, my husband is loving it too! The guard sizes are a little different than standard so that was one thing to adjust to and figure out.

Works AMAZING for autistic kiddos!!
I was absolutely at my breaking point with what to do for my severely autistic sonâs haircuts. We tried so many different clippers, scissors and all kinds of techniques, and he would scream and kick any and everyone involved in trying to help him through the trim. I bought these based off of another special needs kids mom on here thinking, ah yea right they probably wonât work for my son. Let me tell you-these are MIRACLE clippers!!! My son literally grabbed them out of my hand and put them to his head and did not shed one single tear!!! Iâm not sure if the cute characters and color made him feel more comfortable, the fact that they arenât scary looking and are chord less I think helps. They do still have a buzzing sound but he did not seem to mind at all unlike other clippers we have tried!! Would give more stars if I could! These have literally changed his entire meltdown from haircut time to him actually enjoying it! Money well spent!!!!

Worked miracles for our son’s sensory disorder.
Our five year old has autism and sensory processing disorder, haircuts have always been a very difficult task. Typical trimmers with cords and loud motors put him into a very overwhelmed and traumatized state of mind. Up until we purchased this product, hair cuts were a tag team effort with my husband and I. Every cut involved doing our best to be fast and effective with my husbands trimmer while our son screamed, shook, kicked, slapped and fell into a completely over stimulated meltdown. On the first try with this product he was curious. There is sound but it’s more like a buzzing kids toy sound than a trimmer motor. It has a mild vibration that made our son want to not only hold it but help when we trimmed his hair. We went from a typical hair cut being a traumatizing experience, to him actually aiding in the job. He does cringe a little near his neck and ears but I was able to do the cut myself while my husband looked after our two year old. I was even able to use the trimmer directly on his skin without the attachments to do his neck and ears and he did not even cry. My husband and I give this product rave reviews and highly recommend it to anyone who cares for a child with sensory disorders or special needs. I would even recommend a shop carrying this for small children who might normally be shy and scared about the regular buzzer. This is amazing. We have yet to test the water proof claim, but the USB charge works great and the trimmer powered through my son’s shaggy thick hair without a problem and in one pass. Wonderful product!
