Fantastic watch and activity tracker all in one package
I looks nice, can program all important info on watch face. Battery life is great if you turn of the feature that lights up the info when you twist your wrist. Its not that bothersome to just tap it instead. I get 4 to 5 days out of the battery that way.
If I use pulseOx, then battery life is shorter, but is really not needed for every night

Great Watch! Hoping for some minor things next time…
This is really a great watch! The battery life is pretty great, the sensors are great for every day users, and the best part is how classy this watch looks. This watch actually works decently for fitness tracking. It is absolutely no replacement to a dedicated fitness watch like the 255 and 955, but even though it leaves me for wanting what those watches provide, it gives me more than I could have ever hoped for in its fitness abilities. Its sleep/awake tracking is scarily accurate. And its heart rate sensor is fairly good too. I do wish they had used their latest heart rate sensor because even though this is more accurate than many other devices out there, it still makes me question how accurate the reading is because I know it’s not Garmin’s best/latest iteration. Obviously if you are getting this watch though, it is mostly because of the design. And the design is precisely why I bought this watch and encourage anyone else with high taste to do the same. You will definitely want to get a classier looking watch strap than the one that comes with the watch, but the one provided with the watch works great for any fitness tracking you wish to do with the watch. I do, however, have a couple things that I really wish Garmin would improve. This watch is a different entry than the Garmin Style and Garmin Luxe, so I can forgive the plastic case to an extent. But a new watch with a gold/rose gold/silver/etc. case is long overdue. I like the design of this watch except for the plastic case (which still looks trendy, but not as classy as I would hope), but I still ended up getting this watch because the Style and Luxe are so outdated. I love the fact you can get notifications and even reply to notifications on-screen. I like the pre-set notifications, but I would like to see the ability to give full replies like my 7-year older Android Wear watch could provide. A speak to text option would be even better. These are options that I’m sure would be doable for a watch like this (so long as the microphone wouldn’t ruin the design). My final suggestion would be to open this watch up to the app store. It has a full screen, and many apps and custom watch faces could still be added to this watch, even if they are more limited in options. In a perfect dream world, GPS, better battery life, and everything else that the 955 provides would be incredible to have in a watch like this, even if I had to pay more. But I understand the limits due to design, and I would prefer the design of this as a daily wearable over the 955 any day. But I will continue to use the 255 (eventually the 965 when it comes out) as my only fitness tracking watch when I receive it because it can do so much more. Hope this review helps!

Not perfect but stylish and functional
I love this watch. It looks classy and professional while also providing feedback on body metrics. I got the mist grey and love the look of the gold hands on the silver face. Itâs not a perfect watch which is why it gets 4 stars but Iâm a sucker for pretty things. I donât check my watch often for metrics but find that 25% of the time it wonât be synced to my phone which means I canât see things like my heart rate through the day. The touch screen is not super responsive. I do occasionally have to swipe a few times to get to the right screen. I can see this being annoying for some but Iâm not the user that needs to check everything all the time and I certainly donât want to pay monthly for using a watch. I just want a pretty watch that will tell me the time and a few body metrics. This fits the bill!

Vivomove Trend-great hybrid
Iâve had my trend for a little over a week. I had an Apple Watch-and wanted something different. I donât need all the extras the Apple Watch had so, after a lot of research I decided on the Garmin Vivomove Trend. After getting used to tapping, I love it. Steps matched my Apple Watch-I wore them together a couple of days. The lack of gps isnât an issue, I always have my cellphone with me, since it is connected with my iPhone. I love the analog face, how it seamlessly connects with the Garmin collect app. And the app has loads of information, and is much easier to read than the apple health app.
The battery is another plus-it lasted over 4 days, which is great, because I tend to forget to charge my watch. It also takes just a couple of hours to charge.
The only downside, which is personal preference is I wish the body was a little smaller-but that is definitely not a game changer.
This hybrid watch is really worth considering.

I know Garmin watches and already have a VIVOSMART 5 and I wanted to upgrade to a watch but not look like a smartwatch (I hate the look of a smartwatch)I knew Amazon was the right place!
