A Must-Have for Every Kitchen!
I absolutely love the OXO Good Grips Glass Food Scale! It’s sleek, accurate, and incredibly easy to use. The glass surface not only looks great in my kitchen but is also super easy to clean. The large, easy-to-read digital display makes weighing ingredients a breeze, and I love that it has a tare function, which ensures precise measurements every time. The scale is highly sensitive and accurate, even for small amounts, which is essential when following recipes. Itâs also compact and stores easily without taking up much space. Whether I’m measuring flour, liquids, or small ingredients, this scale has been an indispensable tool in my cooking and baking routine. The OXO Good Grips design makes it comfortable to handle, and the overall build feels very durable. I highly recommend this scale for anyone who values precision in the kitchen. Itâs definitely a worthwhile investment!

Perfect for my baking needs
So happy that I found this kitchen scale. 1) Just the right size…easily fits in my kitchen drawer 2) Glass surface is very attractive. Numbers are bright, large and easy to see. 3) Easy to tare, change units and power off and on, simply by touching glass. No buttons that will eventually wear out and fail. 4) Good price and value. 5) Only drawback is that the capacity is limited to 11 pounds, but that won’t be a concern for most home cooks.

Easy to Use & Long-Lasting
Perfect scale for everyday kitchen use.It has a variety of weight modes (oz, g, etc), and it has an actual “ZERO” mode. It even has liquid measurement. It makes weighing out baking ingredients a breeze. Pro tip: If you like to bake or cook, use weight. Don’t use cups, tablespoon, etc.It cleans easy with a quick wipe, and it turns off when not in use.The only gripe I have about it is that I accidentally turn it on when putting it away. The buttons are kinda sensitive, but I guess that’s a good thing.

kitchen necessity
We chose this to replace a scale with a sprung metal plate. This scale works well, but we were disappointed to discover the ounce measurement only goes to one decimal place, i.e. 0.7 and not, for instance, 0.72. We do like the long display–about 15 minutes, I believe. We are mostly measuring portions of cheese (we eat a lot of cheese!) necessitating a paper barrier between cheese and glass. The glass still gets very dirty and smeared, so there’s a lot of cleaning required. Still, it’s a nice-looking scale and it works well as long as you don’t need to get granular with ounces.

A- product due to small nitpicks
First let me start off by saying that this is a great scale and is accurate! Fits a few different size and style containers on it with no problems reading. The minor things that make the experience not perfect comes down to the buttons. It’s nice looking and I’m sure conforms to usability on having the “buttons” just be spots on the top glass surface, but man does it make you unsure of if you’ve pressed it or not sometimes. Especially the power button having more than one function. If you want to zero your scale it’s a quick press, with a slightly longer than comfortable pause before it zeros. But if you want to turn the unit off it’s a long press, which leaves you thinking if you’ve actually turned it off or not. I’ve actually thought I’ve turned the scale off and walked away to do something else in the cooking process only to look back and see my scale still lit up. It’s easy enough to just go and turn it off, but I’m unsure if it has an auto shutoff (you’d think it would). But these are really just minor minor annoyances, not something that would really make me not like the scale or anything. Also they included 4 AAA batteries, which is a nice touch. I still give it 5 stars, just wish it could get an A+!

A nice update to the previous OXO kitchen scale.
We bought the earlier OXO scale possibly 10 years ago, and it was a valued item in our kitchen. It finally stopped working, so we bought this item as a replacement. This iteration seems to be better in every way. Easier to use, easier to clean and additional useful features. One of the features we like is the ability to weigh items in the same units a recipe uses. No more looking for a calculator and trying to find some conversion factors.

Nightmare product- do not buy
Keep scrolling to another product. This one is a disaster. I have had mine 17 months. It is unreliable, inefficient and downright annoying. Simple tasks like turning it on and off are terrible. It is inaccurate and fluctuates as you use it. It cannot even stay at zero or r close to zero as you use it and you basically have to keep taring it over and over leaving you to wonder how accurate it is. Probably not very accurate at all. I just butchered a whole ribeye like I do every Easter and I have decided I have had enough of this piece of garbage. Do not buy this.

I like its simplicity, positive controls and it’s accuracy. Seems to tick all my boxes.
