Large surface area makes it nice and easy to use
I appreciate that you can run this off of either AC adapter or batteries. The metal weigh surface tray is removable which makes it nice and easy to clean. Wipe down of the buttons is easy. Also, the buttons to operate are big, easy to see and press. I haven’t had any issues yet and have been using it for a little over a month now.

Very good scale
I was looking for a scale that was not as small as the most cheap ones. I like to cook and bake a lot and this scale was the best bet I could find. The good features of this one are: precise enough for cooking, detachable stainless steel cover (easy to clean), can be used for non-cooking purpose without the cover, can be powered with batteries or the power supply included in the box. Some can say that it is a little big, but for me it is what I wanted, as I was over with these small scales that you can’t even put a bowl on it.I recommend it.

Good for weighing large items
This is a lot bigger than I expected, but I’m really happy with the size of the scale surface. My old scale had a 5 1/2” surface and food would hang off and therefore not get an accurate reading. I buy meat in bulk and weigh it out into smaller portions for freezing. This scale makes it easy with a 81/2” x 7“ surface to work with. It also has a Tare button, which is very handy. Sometimes I weigh things in a container or bowl. The Tare button puts the scale to zero and doesn’t count the weight of the container. I find it helpful as with my old scale I would have to turn it on and off or remember to put the container on first. Sounds like a small issue, but when you’re trying to be productive and working quickly it’s very handy to have that feature. Calibrating it was a bit annoying and took several attempts. You have to place a counterweight on the scale and I didn’t have anything that was 10kg or 30kg on hand. Calibrating it is really important, or it won’t measure things properly. See my picture, one is before I calibrated it. It’s a 2.5 lb bag of cashews, but the scale says it weighs 11 lbs 3oz. After calibrating it, it accurately weighted a bag of pasta. I got a bonus 1/2 oz, it measured the same weight on two different scales. If you are looking for a kitchen scale that can handle larger quantities and portions this will do IMO.

Not recommended
This scale worked ok, but it seemed to be off based on my other scales readings. Then, after my return date passed, it started flashing the screen on and off, and now doesn’t work. Do not recommend.

The stainless finish looks clean and professional, and the LCD stays easy to read even with a full-size kitchen plate on the scale. It’s responsive and consistent with measurements. Great for accurately measuring baking ingredients or commercial kitchen use.

Easy to use
This thing is so use to use and has a big display screen. Cleans up easy from my waxes I use on it. It is very accurate because I compared it to my other scale and it was spot on.

Nice scale, good design
I got this scale because the old one I have was starting to have some issues. It was a salter 7″ kitchen scale. I was able to compare the two as the basis of this review. The old one was smaller, and depending on the size of the plate or bowl I put on it, the readout was hard to see. This scale doesn’t have that issue. It has a much larger base with a readout that is easy to see regardless of the size of the bowl I use.The old scale’s surface was not removable. So, if it got dirty I had to clean the whole thing, being careful to not get water in the electronics. This scale has a removable cover that is easy to clean. I much prefer this approach. This scal also stands higher off the surface it is put on – again, easier to use.So in functionality terms this one is better than my old one.In terms of accuracy, they are both accurate, the Salter readings are in smaller increments, but not to the point where it makes a difference in any recipe that I would ever use.The instructions for this scale call it a shipping scale or a postage scale though it is marketed here as a kitchen scale. Some of the terminology is a bit confusing, probably because of that difference.Overall I am pleased, the larger size is nice, but it definately takes up more space than the other one. That and the ability to measure things down to 1/8 of an ounce are the only two advantages of the salter scale over this one. Overall, the Puozult scale wins out for me.
