    Great Watch
    This watch is awesome.
Battery Life –> Medium Use I get two weeks easy. (I have adjustable Brightness turned on works very well)
When battery is at 50% the watch charges in about 45 minutes.
AI feature –> Detects if turned on when my heart rates gets up over warmup in the 105-110 and suggests an exercise session recording.
Love how you can do quick replies on messenger and If you can’t take your call it allows you to send a message as to why you can’t. Messages are customizable in the app.
Note: You can not answer calls or SMS text messages on this watch, but who cares I do not care for those features.
Customize Exercise templates to track and work up to your goals. Love that the most.
    Loads of information
    PAI
    EPOC
    Sleep monitoring
Heart rate monitoring while exercising at different Levels
    Accurate Step count
Close to accurate heart rate tracking….I am talking off by 1/2 a beat or less which is great compared to some of the other watches.
App is the Zepp app –> Very good app stable and very smooth to use
There are many features you can add to the watch via app.
    Watch faces are basic (Freeones)
Many different watch faces all from 99 cents to 1.99 Worth it on some of the faces as they can display very clear information and make use of the surface of the watch very optimally.
    100% Recommend.

A durable, feature-rich alternative to iOS & Android watches
I’ve had the Amazfit T-Rex 2 for nearly 2.5 months and I am extremely pleased with my purchase. During this time, I’ve used this smart watch primarily for fitness tracking, hiking and sleep monitoring.
The GPS tracking is extremely accurate. You can set waypoints on a hike and then use the map to backtrack to your original starting point. This is a great feature if you plan to hike off trail. You can upload your own maps, but it is somewhat of a daunting task to do so, which is a con for this watch. The maps generated by this watch are breadcrumb maps, which is fine for me. You can’t read a detailed map very well on a screen of this size. And any adventurer worth their weight is going to have a map of the area they go hiking in anyway.
The sleep tracking feature is pretty darn awesome. It tracks my sleep stages very accurately. It also heart rate and respiratory rate as I am sleeping. While the watch itself offers significant insight, the accompanied app offers even more.
The fitness tracking feature is pretty much on par with the sleep tracking feature. Just keep in mind these devices only give you relative data as to your heart rate and other vitals. Don’t be a Dilbert and use a smart watch as a medical device, rushing to the ER because your heart rate spiked.
The best thing about this watch is the battery life. Holy cow, the battery life. Under heavy use, I can go a couple weeks in between charges. On lighter weeks, I can go as far a 3 weeks before needing to recharge. And the recharging? Well it only takes (I haven’t actually timed it) but maybe an hour or less.
The durability appears to be high. I’ve bang this watch into walls, trees, bumped pavement while working underneath a car and the screen is still perfect. Although the glass isn’t indestructible, it is very tough.
Other features I’ve used or notifications. I can’t reply to texts or answer calls. But you know what? I’m not trying to be Dick Tracy. If I need to communicate with somebody, I’ll pull out my phone.
Free watch faces are plentiful via the companion app or through 3rd party websites such as amazfitwatchfaces.
In conclusion, I love this smart watch. The value is insane! The features vs the price should make this a no-brainer for any fitness or outdoor enthusiast.

    Simply amazing for the price
The battery, speed, features, durability, clarity, and accuracy are outstanding. You cannot beat the price and quality of this watch.
The battery is as good as they say it is. If you use it constantly through the day for various things it will not last the full two weeks but it is still much better than any smart watch I’ve owned. I’m on day 3 now and at 74% battery using it a lot. I’ve fiddled with it through the days using it as often as I can.
The OS is smooth and runs very snappy. Running a timer and the stopwatch while using a compass? No problem! Some of the free watch faces have the ability to allow you to go directly to various apps on the device or tells you what is running or if Bluetooth is being actively used.
Too many features to go through in a review here but it has plenty of information. There are some watch faces that provide you with tons of useful information. Metrics, date, weather, moon phases, barometric pressure, rain warning, sun rise/set, alarms, screen lock, humidity, etc.. it’s a lot.
It’s durability seems to be really good. It is plastic so it’s very light but still feels very solid. I haven’t felt like it’s going to break if I bang it on something (which I have and it is unscathed). The band I think is great but I did see where some people have broken there’s. No worries though because there are replacement bands through AmazFit and aftermarket; I bought an elastic breathable band and replacement was easy. UNSCREW THE LEFT SIDE (side with up and down buttons) ONLY! Otherwise you’ll strip the tool. It requires a special tool so make sure the band you order has the tool to remove the screws. Overall the quality is outstanding.
Screen clarity, resolution, and readability in the sun is amazing. It will adjust screen brightness automatically depending on the lighting around you. Colors are vivid.
And finally accuracy of the metrics for health and sleep seem reliable. I’m not a health nut so I don’t need it to be 100%. That said it tracks on par with Fitbit and various other watches I’ve used. The graphs and layout of information is very in depth yet easy to read. Sleep tracking seems to be very accurate and comes with an optional subscription to allow ai enhanced ambient sounds customized to your sleep pattern. It learns what helps you sleep better and shuts off at the appropriate time and uses a smart alarm the wake you up slowly within 30 minutes of your set alarm. So not to wake you abruptly.
This is a game changer for the price and I’m grateful I chose to try out this watch. As long as Amazfit keeps doing what they’re doing, they have me as a customer for life. 5/5 stars!

Honestly, what do you want from a Sporty Smart watch? This looks very decent, gives me the right data about my workouts, sleep patterns, heart rate, stress levels & even has a built in GPS. Full Touchscreen interface, nice vibration notifications, Loads of watch faces to customize, and most importantly for me, a amazingly LONG LONG standby time (seriously, I’ve used it for a week and it still tells me I got 50% or more battery life) love it… An amazing interface via the ZEPP app and finally, the Price… C’mon for all you’re getting, and you think it’s expensive, you obviously didn’t do your research on the competition at all…Its a solid buy and for all you’re getting worth every penny (even if you’ve already saved by getting this watch)! Just go for it!

Très satisfait de la T-Rex 2, toutes les fonctionnalités que j’ ai besoin

I bought this watch last year around Oct and wasn’t too sure as to how it would perform. But after using it for 8 months I can confidently say that for the money you pay , this watch performs pretty well and it would definitely be on par with the more reputable watch brands out there and perform as well penny for penny if not better. I use for my road and trail running once or twice in a week. The GPS is spot on, thought I should mention it does take a wee bit of time to search for the GPS, sometimes it’s faster. But that’s a small issue. Once it’s on , it’s good to go. Whether you are hiking or running, the watch will give you pretty accurate metrics. Honestly I have not fact checked for every sec or heartbeat but whatever I read at the end of the activity or workout, I feel it’s pretty accurate. Like they say, you cannot substitute it for a medical device. For a lay person like me I feel this watch is fantastic. It’s got all the features which one would find in today’s best smart watches. I took to Bharat this year in Mar / April and May and worked like a charm. Finding the GPS was no issues. Used it for running and walking, no issues. Also used it for my river rafting trip at rishikesh for 17kms down the Ganges, dived into the river while rafting, no issues. I don’t even remember, like cleaning the watch afterwards. I took it for the Tungnath trek upto 12000 ft, no issues. Next year I’m planning everest base camp trek and I’m sure this watch will pass with flying colors. What I also like, since I do high altitude trekking, is blood oxygen that it shows. Again, I know it’s not supposed to be used as a medical device, but atleast you get an idea, so yeah overall very happy with the purchase and the watch. Did I forget to mention that I wear it to work everyday ? The battery life is also pretty amazing. Depends on what features you use but if you keep it simple and basic then the battery really lasts long.

BUY IT !! ( save you some reading)
    Still unsure… read away.
I have had some other AMOLED watches before taking a chance on this watch. So I get the hesitation. BUT I will say, the price point to the quality of the watch do not line up at all. This is a very good watch. It is worth it !!!!!!
Sure who am I right… but I will explain my high rating based on my life.
I am a journeyman plumber and this makes a nice work watch. Controls Spotify easily, volume +/- and skip songs forwards and backwards.
Message notifications / phone calls show up with a great vibration. Even using a SDS plus I can feel the watch vibrate. My last two smart watches I couldn’t. Using a SDS Max – not so much but that is expected.
I do not use any of the GPS or heart/health stuff. I do glance at the step counter at times. I know what I typically do daily and seems fairly accurate as well.
I am over 50 and with this age comes seeing/reading small print an issue.
My favorite thing about this watch is the screen is large / very bright which makes working/driving very easy to see what the message is / who is calling. Even in direct sunlight, while driving / working outside, still read the screen with ease. Few times I did work outside in the cold Winnipeg winters, watch worked fine.
Battery life is impressive. Not sure about there “days” they post it can last. This watch can easily go 1 week using the watch often with the screen bright. I tend to get a lot of calls and messages daily and I only charge it Sunday mornings.
One of the first things you need to get is the AmazFaces app. LOTS of free watch faces to check out. You will have to watch some ad’s on the app to get the free faces but so worth it. Posted some pictures of some of my favorites. TIP: Issues loading a face. Reboot the watch. After a few in a row, tends to fail. Unsure if its a phone / app or watch issue. Not a real concern as a reboot of the watch is quick and easy.
Tip: ALL AMOLED screens have issues with burn in on the screen. Just like your parents/grandparents watching the weather channel and when the TV was on a different station you can see where the time / temp /city info on the screen. This screen are bright but it has a cost to it. So a trick I figured out early on ( after I ruined my first Garmin Venu) was to change the face display often. I tend to cycle threw about 8-12 watch faces. This will help reduce the “burn in” effect.
I only have 3 CONs for this watch:
    1) is the strap. I love the dual clasps ( rings that hold the extra in place). Just the remainder of the strap sticks out to far past the last selection on the band. It tends to get caught on the steering wheel when palming a turn hard / parallel parking. ( see picture)
    2) Amazfit DO NOT SELL extra bands. Which I do not get it…
I reached out to them and all I got back was ” check out amazon.com/.ca” there are lots of aftermarket straps.
So I went down that rabbit hole and all these aftermarket ones do not have the dual rings to hold the extra strap, which to me being physical all day while work was a HUGE importance to me.
    3) This one is kinda petty but… When you clear your notifications on your phone. Watch takes a long time to clear them, to the point I had to manually delete the notifications. Yet at times it does it instantly. so… ya My Garmins and Fossil instantly cleared them instantly.
Ya ya I know petty. Just letting others know incase they run into the same expectations
Buy this watch ! Price point is spot on !!! Watch is very good!! Winnipeg MB April 6th 2024 is when I made this.
    Hope I helped !!!!!!!
