   **Design & Build Quality 9/10**

The controls are intuitive, and there’s a simple interface on the device itself, though the remote control enhances the experience, especially for navigation.

   This is where the projector truly shines. Gone are the days of dealing with tangled HDMI cables. The projector connects effortlessly to your Wi-Fi network, allowing you to stream content directly from platforms like Netflix, YouTube, and other apps with the built-in smart features. It also supports laptop connectivity, which is a huge plus for spontaneous presentations or movie nights.
   **Picture Quality 10/10**

   Hidden Gem in Budget Projectors
   I’ll start by saying I used to be a projectionist at a movie theatre and I know a good deal about Audio/Visual components, so I’m very critical when it comes to projection. This is the 3rd projector I’ve purchased within a few weeks in the sub-$150 range, and I think I’ve found the one.
   Many people have given other Happrun projectors great reviews, but this one is getting overlooked for some reason. I’ve been testing it for about 3 days now and here are my observations.
   Pros:
   1. Most importantly: Great Picture. I have it projecting on a very light grey wall in a spare bedroom and I’ve run various color tests and colors look accurate and vibrant. With 400 ANSI Lumens it’s very bright. This has approx 75 more ANSI Lumens than the Happrun L1, which gets more attention and costs less.
   2. The Auto-Focus and Auto-Keystone work great. I didn’t have to adjust the frame because the projector did it automatically, and I can fine tune the focus if for some reason it’s a bit off. But the clarity is very nice.
   3. Decent Sound. The speakers aren’t going to win any awards or meant to be a surround sound system but they can get pretty loud if turned up and I wouldn’t hesitate to just use the built in speakers in a small/medium room. I plan on buying a small soundbar and connect it to the aux input for a much richer experience.
   4. Very easy to setup. The menu settings are pretty basic and can be up and running within minutes.
   5. Has a lot of options for inputs. Two HDMI inputs, one USB input, RCA AV input, and the ability to cast from a phone. Right now I have an Amazon Firestick connected to the HDMi port with the power coming from the usb port.
   6. Compact size for indoor and outdoor use. With a portable stand you can very easily move this projector to different locations.
   Cons:
   1. Even though it’s running an Android OS, the APP store it has is pretty worthless. It has Netflix, Amazon Prime, and YouTube preinstalled, but the other apps are ones no one has heard of and you probably won’t use. My advice is to either use a USB flash drive with media files on it, or get a Firestick or Roku and have that be your main menu.
   2. Because the settings are very simple, you won’t be able to adjust picture settings like you would on a tv. So you can’t adjust color temp, saturation, tint, brightness etc. But the standard picture really looks good, and if you really want to tinker you may be able to adjust things on a Firestick or Roku stick.
   3. I didn’t do a lot of casting to the projector through my iphone. It did work but I can’t say how great it is at the moment. I don’t do a lot of casting from my phone in general, so for me it’s not really something I need.
   4. I noticed the audio was slightly out of sync when I was listening using my Bluetooth earbuds. There could be a few factors affecting this, like the audio having to go through the firestick app and then through the projector then to my earbuds. BUT when I paired the earbuds directly to the firestick instead of the projectors Bluetooth the audio was perfectly in sync. So keep that in mind if for some reason you’re using Bluetooth earphones.
   Overall: The minor cons didn’t really detract from how good this projector is. Great picture quality, accurate and vibrant colors, good brightness, simple to use, auto focus and auto keystone that work, and good speakers.
   I’d say this is one of the best projectors under $150, and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to do movie night and not break the bank. (I purchased this with coupons and it was about $119 +tax)
   Suggestions: I’m projecting it to about a 77 inch screen, but probably won’t go bigger than 100 inches because I don’t want to degrade the picture quality. I’d also suggest getting a portable stand if you plan on moving it around. I was able to find a good one on Amazon for $19. (https://amzn.to/3EDWZzn)

   High performing projector
   I was pleasantly surprised by the performance of this projector. It is easy to set up right out of the box – just adjust the picture/keystone, connect to your WiFi and you’re done! The user interface and OS is very intuitive which provides a seamless experience. The projector is already preloaded with most of the apps that you’d need such as YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and even a web browser! I’m not sure what the hardware specs are but going through the main menu and apps was very smooth and not laggy, which is surprising as my smart TV lags. The picture quality is great and the colors are nice. What I especially like is the versatile keystone settings which enable you to basically put the projector anywhere. The addition of the bluetooth speaker is also nice. It’s a standard speaker that works pretty decently but it’s better than having to purchase or use external speakers. Overall this is a strong-performing projector and I would definitely recommend others to give it a shot.

   Greatly purchase of 2024
   Studies show that couples who have a tv in their bedroom don’t have nearly as much sex as couples who don’t. Unfortunately, some nights I just want to relax and fall asleep to the show on Netflix. This is a great easy solution. I did find it helpful to purchase a Projector stand with this product but it’s been lifechanging. We now can watch a show when we want and tuck it away easily when we don’t. It makes a great compromise! Works well, very clear image, and the sound is good with the little speaker that comes with it.

   LBluetooth difficult to connect with phone.
   The blue tooth feature is very easy to pair but diffecult to connect. I couldn’t do it. Also, if the bulb goes out the replacement is pricy because of the autofocus feature. It also uses a third-party app Miracast to see. Not a great manual.
