  1. Drake

    Perfect
Game changer for working out. The accessibility is really handy for someone trying to cut out gym expenses every month. Had to buy the expansions later to keep going up in weight. Looking forward to buying the last expansion when the time comes.

  2. Baysh

    Great set of dumbbells
The Elite EXP stands out for its exceptional adjustable weight system, making transitions between exercises incredibly smooth. With just a quick adjustment, I can change the weight settings to suit my workout needs, ranging from lighter exercises to more intense sessions. This flexibility has saved me time and space while keeping my workouts dynamic and tailored to my goals.

    7 Months In – Amazing
I’ve had these dumbbells for 7 months now and have little regrets. These were my first endeavor into having a workout setup at home and these performed excellently. Easy to switch weights, durable, intuitive. The only wish I had for them is the shape to be less constraining (it marginally restricts some movements). Other than that, these offer amazing value and I am looking forward to buying the expansion set.

  4. Nancy pacheco

Must have for every home gym!
Better than 95% of the other options on here, they are made to last, most others will break on the first drop. Buy once cry once.

  5. J. Cole Dixon

    Amazing!
Amazing. They are easy to change weight and they are very rugged. Highly recommend. I highly recommend getting one of the compact stands. It well worth the money.

  6. Kyle A Green

    Expansion pack defect
One of the sets of the pair I bought keeps sticking to the expansion pack (50-70 lbs) when picking it up, bringing the unselected weight with it when lifting up. Must have been dropped or something knocking the frame off a little. Overall great product

First impressions: they’re heavy as advertised.
Really what more can you say about a weight? Alright I suppose there’s a little more for these.Unlike some of the other reviewers here and for a lot of other adjustable dumbbells, I was happy to see that everything came out of the box totally intact. Now that it’s all out of the boxes (yes it’s two and that’s a good thing for everyone involved), it’s all really easy to adjust and feels solid in the hand.I think you actually could adjust these down quickly enough to use ’em for monster sets of at least some exercises, which is a common complaint I see for a lot of adjustables, but you’ll probably want to avoid messing with the adder weights during that. Adding and removing plates is practically free, but to remove one adder from one dumbbell, you need to return the dumbbell to the stack, remove the selector, pull just the core out, flip the lever, cover one hole and dump the weight out before putting it…somewhere (if you don’t buy their stand, I’d suggest figuring out a good place for those), flip the lever again, return the core to the stack, and put the selector where you want it. So if you want to go 50->40->30 and so on, that’ll be pretty speedy, but if you want to go 50->47.5->45->40, you might be better off grabbing something else for those sets. The cage design was also something I was worried about with these. First thought being that I wear a smartwatch to keep an eye on myself during my workouts, and I’m glad to say that my watch gets nowhere between those bars and sits several inches above them. I’m right there with others on one shortcoming of the design though: if you tend to rest your weights on your thighs before a set, it might be a bit less comfortable than doing so with hex dumbbells. No sharp corners or anything to worry about, but I guess the latter always worked for me because it was mainly my hands making contact with my legs there. Now it’s mostly tubes and it just feels, like I said, less comfy.

    Sturdy and efficient
I’m skeptical of all multi-weight dumbells. I bought the powerblock dumbells because there was no “plastic turn mechanism” like most adjustable dumbells on the market. I read a lot of reviews that those plastic parts break often due to the aggressive constant use. I have only had the power blocks for about 2 weeks and so far I love them. This is not a longevity review, I have no info on that, but first impressions of using these dumbells for two weeks are phenomenal. I do different movements with chest, back, legs, arms and shoulders every day. They feel terrific in my hands and are not as bulky as I originally predicted. The 50lb setting isn’t any bigger than what a normal 50lb dumbell would be. They seem to perform well to all my movements. I get a little worried setting them down too fast on my concrete floor, I do not want to damage them, but that’s more of a personal topic since I don’t have rubber mats. Overall, I bought these dumbells for $300, that’s $150 each for 10 dumbells (5-50lbs) so together it comes out to $15 per dumbell. I think it’s an absolute steal. I very much recommend these and I will be buying the expansions to increase the weight in the future (another reason I chose this set!)

  11. Chantelle

It was a ride but I eventually got my dumbbells. I ended up having to order about 3 (3rd was just a replacement) times the first time one of the dumbbells got lost. The second time it happened again. The third time I was sent a replacement and got both at the same time. So have faith. Some people seem to get both or one after the other. The dumbbells take some getting used to as some moves that are done with a regular dumbbell are a bit tricky but doable or it’s very easy to find an alternative. They are sturdy and built to last but I’m not a dropper in any way shape or form so be careful. Delivery can be tricky. In the end I can’t complain and customer support helped a lot. I’m grateful I finally have them.
